As of Feb 2005, Ryanair is flying direct to Granada from London Stansted, and then from Liverpool in April. Meanwhile, Monarch is also opening a direct route from Gatwick to Granada from May. Granada is a 45-minute drive from the nearest town, Orgiva.

Alternatively, Orgiva is a scenic and uncongested 2-hour drive from both Malaga and Almeria airports, from where hire cars can be arranged for as little as £90 per week.
